Clean clothing is nice to have
::sigh:: Sears never showed up to fix our dryer (the bastards), so I'm at the in-law's today doing many loads of laundry.
The in-laws are still in New York, so while the first load dried, the kids and I ran over to the Giant to pick up another bottle of detergent. This gave me the chance to teach Yael another thing about being a polite person: When you use a lot of somebody's stuff, it's nice to go get them some more. While we were at it, we got some bananas for my FIL and some fresh figs for my MIL, because we thought it would be nice for them to have some fresh fruit tomorrow morning.
I figure if I keep throwing these things at her, maybe a few will stick. I hope.
Whew. Finally got Barak down for a nap. Anyway, Avi's hopefully at home painting trim and doors and such.
And now that Barak's napping and Yael's watching Animaniacs, I'm going to do a little work. New Sherlock tonight! (Brief nonspoilery comment on "The Blind Banker": Oh, show, with your race and genderfail, why do I love you so? I'm hoping "The Great Game" will be more like "A Study in Pink".)
