See, she was never really dead.

Leslie smuggled her out of Gotham to Africa, where apparently a blue-eyed blonde in desperate need of cosmetic surgery wasn't conspicuous at *all*.

And...uh...well, apparently she's been hanging around in Africa all this time. Or something. ::eyeroll::

And apparently Bruce suspected she wasn't dead, but couldn't be bothered to, oh, check. But, really, it's not like Batman would be able to find said blue-eyed blonde girl in Africa or anything. He's just Not That Smart. Or something.

Not that I'm bitter. ::coughs:: On the bright side, it didn't involve Superboy Prime *or* a Lazarus Pit!

Huh. So, uh. That big emotional scene between Leslie and Batman? That was for show? And, why did Leslie do it? And, why did Steph do it? And, should I care?

Yes, apparently that was for show. And she did it to protect Steph. Why did Steph do it? Uh...I don't think they've thought that through. And no, I don't think you should care.

What's sad is that I think I suggested exactly this solution back when she "died." And if a few months later, Bruce had tracked Steph down in Africa and he and Tim had gone to talk to her, or something, I'd have been thrilled.

But this...is dumb.
