Today we were supposed to pick strawberries, but the weather predicted thunderstorms all day. So we went to visit Kyle instead. In, y'know, the perfect berry-picking weather. ::eyeroll::
We came home and had lunch and theeeen, we went to the bookstore, because I read a rumor (well, actually a well-substantiated post by the author) that claudiagray's book Evernight was in bookstores today.
Whee! I have my copy and, uh, I'll have time to read it sometime this decade, I'm sure. Really. ::laughs:: I'm looking forward to it, though.
Y'know, I know two recently published book authors, both of whom were given a nom de plume by publishers: Claudia Gray and Jo Graham. ::tilts head:: Anybody want to use the name Greengrass? It's memorable, it begins with two of the "right" letters, and hey, it's not like I'm going to be using it to get published. I won't even charge you or anything.
It's entirely possible that my brain is fried from hours of remapping Monitor pages. I will now go edit an education volume. If you're very very unlucky, I might post some choice sentences from it later.
