Happy new year to me
Rosh Hashana starts tonight. Yael has croup and woke us up at about 4 am because she couldn't, y'know, breathe. Aren't kids supposed to grow out of croup eventually? ::sigh::
Oh, and I'm also starting the new year with a painful bump on my forehead where my son 1) deliberately hit me with a piece of toy railroad track and 2) slammed his skull against me.
Boy, it's a good thing I don't believe in omens, right? ::eyeroll::
As I said to my father just now, I can only hope that this is one of those "Eat a live frog in the morning and nothing worse will happen to either of you for the rest of the day" things.
I'd facepalm or headdesk but that hurts too much, what with the lump on my forehead.
::sigh:: Okay, time to drag both kids to the store to get chicken before the holidays start.
