I came home to find that the storm last night had toppled the walnut tree in my side yard. Mom hated the tree anyway, supposedly the walnuts kill the grass. It fell in a great spot tho, srsly. It could have taken out the powerlines, fell across the street, on the house across the street, on the house to the south, on the shed with the mower, or the garden fence. It fell in the one place where it didn't do any real damage. Then again... if it'd fallen out on the powerlines and the street, I think the city and the electric company might have cleaned it up.

I'm hoping I can find someone who wants the wood for firewood. I don't think I should play with a chainsaw.
Poor squirrels, they had quite a haul from that tree. I never ran over walnuts in the yard, they kept them picked up. I know, Molly would have something to say about that. "send me the squirrels" lol
