I picked the Derby winner :D
I also lost money because it was a 3-way tie and Mom picked the horse that placed. She picks based on name only; the horse (Lookin' at Lee) had terrible odds, but I do love a dark horse. Mom flipped her shit as soon as the gates opened because Snow Thunder freaked out. She was screaming, "They're gonna shoot him!" I was like ...they don't do that anymore. Even after I Googled it and showed her that horses are euthanized but not shot, she didn't believe it. Well, it turns out that the horse was just spooked because *it had never seen mud before*. ????????????????? Dude, I get that you brought this horse from Dubai, but you can't just race him on one terrain. You gotta know how your animal does on turf, dirt, and mud. But whatever. He gets to live, so.

CAN I JUST FANGIRL about John Simm? ASDFGHJKL;' How did I only find out today that he's coming back to 'Doctor Who'? He made an official announcement a full month ago. This is what I get for shunning Facebook and Twitter. So I'm now very excited about what this means for Michelle Gomez. The theories are wonderful! Is Missy just *pretending* to be the Master? Is she really the Rani? I thought she was the Rani when she made her debut. Is John Simm's Master coming as a cameo/flashback to the regeneration? Will Gomez's Master and Simm's Master meet, as many Doctors have met before? After tonight's episode, I feel like Missy is what's in the vault. Pure speculation, of course, but when I heard "Pop! Goes the Weasel", my brain started thinking. Plus, knocking.
I finally got around to reading "The Yellow Wallpaper". It was not as good as I had anticipated. I enjoyed it, but I suppose I don't get the hype.
I desperately need a CPU cooling fan. Yesterday my FPS on GW2 dropped to 4. F O U R. It's game breaking at this point. I think I'll hold off and just put my dollars toward a desktop.
