Holy SHIT.
A "Star Wars" artist just talked to me on Tumblr. I don't mean a fan artist- a REAL LIFE LEGIT STAR WARS ARTIST talked to me on Tumblr. I'm kind of freaking out.
So what happened is that John Burns did a beautiful painting of Snoke and Kylo Ren. I reblogged it with a bit of commentary (read: praise and reading into the image's symbolism). Almost immediately he liked my post, then replied. I was spot-on with my thematic interpretation, apparently. I also seem to have flattered him immensely because he hasn't reblogged anyone else's comments. I'm sick to my stomach in the good way and my jaw has dropped.
I might not be at Celebration Orlando and Adam Driver may not have actually been local (how did that rumor start?), but this is DEFINITELY a huge SW-related thing.
