Lu Han is just another boy waiting for his idols to arrive at the airport.

Lu Han clutched his camera and his handmade "I <3 Youngwoong Jaejoong" sign tightly as he waited with the throngs of fangirls behind the barricade at Gimpo Airport. His hands were sweaty, and his knees felt a little wobbly. DBSK's flight had arrived. Finally, he thought, finally, he was going to see his idols in the flesh. Yes, he'd seen them in concert two years ago in China the first time DBSK did an international tour for their album, Rising Sun, but nothing beat seeing the five gods in their homeland. Lu Han was just as distraught as DBSK's Korean fans that they spent most of their time in Japan, and he was so thankful that his year as an exchange student in Seoul coincided with the group's much-awaited return to Korea.

Lu Han couldn't remember how he got into DBSK, just that he was 15 then (he's 18 now) and that it had been a painful process. It could have been Youngwoong Jaejoong's voice in "Tonight" that made him sit up and notice, but it was just as likely that his obsession began with a glimpse of Micky Yoochun's collarbones. If he were to be honest, though, Lu Han would admit that it was a clip of DBSK's banjun drama episode, "Dangerous Love," that did him in a year into being a casual fanboy. To a young and confused Lu Han, the look in Jaejoong's eyes when Yunho backed him up against the telephone booth and told him he only had Jaejoong in his heart had made butterflies flutter in his stomach. But that was a long time ago.

A cacophony of high-pitched screams shook Lu Han out of his revery, and he found himself moving his legs mechanically, drawn into the crowd of fangirls without having to actually move himself. His heart started pounding faster and he clutched at his camera tighter, as he saw a head of shiny black hair somewhere in front of the crowd. Jaejoong. Lu Han shuffled forward, muttering excuse me's as he tried to fit in between fangirls. He could see Jaejoong's pale skin, almost ethereal, in front of him. His grey hoodie looked good on him.

Lu Han bit his lip. He would take a photo of Jaejoong, he vowed to himself. Just a little one. With that thought in mind, he pushed forward and managed to land himself a good spot near the front of the metal barricade. He could feel his sweat trickling down his temples, but he didn't care. He hurriedly snapped a series of photos, managing to get a few shots of Junsu and Yoochun as well as they were walking right behind Jaejoong. Changmin was too far in front for Lu Han to even think of getting a photo, but there was still Yunho strolling casually out of the exit, glasses perched on his nose, white headphones sitting on his shoulders.

Just as Lu Han was getting ready to take a shot, he felt someone jostle him. A flash of blue beanie, and then there was a young boy with puffy cheeks huffing beside him, a large Rilakkuma backpack that looked heavier than him perched on his back. He was waving a plain white envelope in his hand. "Yunho-sshi," he was saying, just loud enough for Lu Han's ears. "Yunho-sshi," he repeated, much louder this time. "Please. My letter." Lu Han almost shook his head at him, knowing how futile it was to even attempt to give letters or presents.

But then something interesting happened: Yunho turned to look at the boy and smiled.

Lu Han's breath hitched as 1/5 of his favorite boy group started walking towards the barricade. Yunho was reaching for the boy's letter, arm outstretched, and the boy was smiling. Lu Han blinked, surprised at the way the boy's gummy smile transformed his face. But then the smile turned upside down. Lu Han found himself frowning too.

"No gifts," DBSK's manager said, getting in between Yunho and his fanboy. "No letters."

Yunho looked apologetic as he shook his head at the boy. "Sorry," he mouthed.

The boy attempted to smile even as he let the letter flutter out of his hands and onto the ground.

As Yunho started walking away, what was left of the fangirl throng moved along with him, screams and loud stomping accompanying them. Lu Han was left to watch the boy with the blue beanie walking in the opposite direction, his Rilakumma backpack bouncing behind him as he did so.

When he was gone, Lu Han looked at the ground and frowned again. He picked up a familiar white envelope and dusted it off with his hands. "Kim Minseok," it read on the back in neat hangul characters. And underneath it a cellphone number.
