I posted this on the MapleGlobal site (nexon) But I figured a few of you don't check on that forum what with this one being active. Here you go. If you want "the list" just say so and I will post it.
Well.. I'm sure all of you have heard it already.. but Broa.. and I'm certain all the other servers, are SO crowded by hackers you can hardly train without running into one.
I was training at The Garden of Green.. minding my own when people randomly pop in and out of my channel. A few were surprised that I wasn't hacking. I asked them why and they said that every other channel was occupied by someone hacking. I just shrugged it off and continued training. Then... a lvl 5x character with -9 fame comes in.. I think hmm that's strange... They drop to the bottom of the screen, she saw me.. then went back up on the platform that is safe. Yeah.. you guessed it.. she then proceeded in hacking the screen. Using her lightening to hit every monster on the screen and vaccing the loot.
I searched out one of the people that had earlier come into my channel previously, whom I had talked to for a short period of time, and there.. was another hacker. I got fed up. Started at ch 1. Started a list. Went from ch 1 to ch 20 and not a single channel was free of a hacker. Except ch 11 but there WAS a hacker pile there.. I even went into The Garden of Yellow.. I was surprised to find only 4 hackers. The Garden of Red was completely clear.
I think people have become so numb to the fact that Maple Story does not have the security it needs. GMs could say "it costs too much" I'm beginning to think that GMs are so lazy at BANNING these hackers because most of these hackers DO buy NX. If they ban them... they'll loose money. However.. I think that a lot more of the legit people (like myself) would take the time and effort to support Maple Story through NX were there not so many hackers. We shouldn't be SURPRISED if there ISN'T a hacker on the screen.. we should be surprised if there is.........
