Last Day
Well today was my last day here in NYC. I am glad I came though there are reasons why I needed to come and reasons why I wanted to come:
1. Its always nice to hang out with Lomedhi. It's fun and kool.
2. Columbia. Cross my fingers
* I had an interview with a Professor of the International Education Dept.
* Submitted my Application to Admissions.
* Paid for Application and housing.
* My feelings are mixed when it comes to my interview. But my desire to go to Columbia is very strong.
It is not due to any other reason that when I was younger, I had a fascination with the place. The
next few months will be nerve-racking.
3. Let my mom spend time with her sister back in Toronto (chortles merrily-this is trademarked)
4. Walk around NYC by myself and get a feel of things.
5. Last time I came here, I was LOST. This time I was able to find my way around much easier.
6. Apart from the Chain restaurant, most of the food was excellent.
7. Met some nice people involved in the Art Therapy Programme at NYU and I thought I met a kool person from Columbia too.
8. Got an excellent present for Christmas.
It has been a year ago that I was in France visiting with my friend Delphine. I would have loved to have gone back and hung out there again. I had a great time and hope she is doing well!
Spent the day helping LoMedHi with arranging the room. Successes included re-arrangement and cleaning up. Failures were the vain attempt to mount mirror and cleaning up.

Watching it....Walked away... Silly... ok worst than silly. What the heck was the problem with Ged's dad? Sheesh....
