My Future Profession
Since I have been back home, everyone has been asking me "what will you do" or "what do you want to do" or questions along that line. I am not really sure how I want to respond to these questions. Part of it is, well, I'm really not sure where my life is leading. However I have been thinking about some of the things I like doing. This led me to narrow down my future decisions to the following:
1. Second Aid
Yes, we all know about First Aid. But what happens after-wards? Who deals with the follow-up? Who organizes the cleaning up of the blood stains? The sweeping up of the broken glass? I want to be the guy who comes on scene and says, "OK people, break it up! Move along, there's nothing to see here!"
2. Un-motivational Speaker
Hell, this is what I do best! Yes I can tell a funny story and be entertaining. But what's the point? Most people are in the doldrums! They don't want to hear how successful Kwame(using non-anglo name to emphasize the commercial power of minorities) has become. What they want to hear is how they are all suffering under the greed of those in power.They want to relate to all the other people who are just as bad off as they are! In other words, 'Share in MY Misery'
3.Background Actor
What could be more exciting than mingling with famous people from a distance? Or sitting around for hours only to repeat the same action over and over again AND receive monetary gains from said actions?? It's like watching TV but this time you can make ca$h!
So I will leave you with these options on my future career.
