Sudden suprises!
Surprised
On Tuesday, I received a call from my uncle. He was calling from Okinawa. It turns out that they were on their way to Australia and ended up in Okinawa. So they decided to come and visit me and my sister. Its been really kool over th last few days. I let them sleep upstairs and I have been in the living room. It was hard to sleep the past few nights but it is getting better. I think it was due to the A/C.
Yesterday we went to Youkoska Naval Base because their luggage ended up in Nebraska so they had nothing to wear. Now my aunt and cousin are OK, but my uncle is 6'8"... So sizes are a little hard to find. We went to the NAVY PX and went on a shopping spree!!!! I bought a few things but controlled myself since I am leaving so soon. I do, however, want to return there sometime next week so I can look around again.
Hunting High And Low
Today I had to go to Costco to get some Maple syrup for gifts to all my Teacher/Japanese friends. Plus I picked up a Dom Perignon for Yoshi, for all his help. I tried to buy a cake and have it delivered but they would not deliver the cake and would not freeze it! DAMN! Meanwhile, my family went off to see Daibutsu (Great Buddha) in Kamakura. So they should be gone until 5-6 ish.
My sister is coming in from Fuji-City and we will eb celebrating her birthday tomorrow. I still gotta get her a present! I will stop off by the GAP or UNIQLO to find something.
Yawn
Boy am I bushed! I could grab a nap now... but I am heading into Fujisawa to hang out and wait for them.
Before-Math
Tomorrow is also my "sayonora party" for the co-workers. I think there should be between 25-35 people there and getting bigger. We may stop off at Paul's place on Sunday so they can see the Temple.
