My trip to get groceries yesterday confirmed the fact that it's that time of year again...Yes, time for me to post

Christmas time is here, by golly,
Disapproval would be folly,
Deck the halls with hunks of holly,
Fill the cup and don’t say when.
Kill the turkeys, ducks and chickens,
Mix the punch, drag out the Dickens,
Even though the prospect sickens,
Brother, here we go again.

On christmas day you can’t get sore,
Your fellow man you must adore,
There’s time to rob him all the more
The other three hundred and sixty-four.

Relations, sparing no expense’ll
Send some useless old utensil,
Or a matching pen and pencil.
Just the thing I need! how nice!
It doesn’t matter how sincere it
Is, nor how heartfelt the spirit,
Sentiment will not endear it,
What’s important is the price.

Hark the herald tribune sings,
Advertising wondrous things.
God rest ye merry, merchants,
May you make the yuletide pay.
Angels we have heard on high
Tell us to go out and buy!

So let the raucous sleigh bells jingle,
Hail our dear old friend Kris Kringle,
Driving his reindeer across the sky.
Don’t stand underneath when they fly by.

I had a math test yesterday. It went rather poorly, but since the grades will be curved and the entire class was confuzzled I'm not all that concerned. I should have had a paper due yesterday, too, but got an extension so as to be able to actually both study and do a decent job writing.

This weekend will be busy...Two of the orthodox families from Norfolk are holding a Shabbaton on campus, Sunday afternoon my dad (and possibly mother as well) will be in town, and Sunday evening I'm going to hear the Pakistani ambassador speak (a perk of organizing international disaster relief on campus). At some time in there I need to write the 10 page paper for which I got an extension...

Staying in W'burg for Thanksgiving. My dorm closes for the break but Richael has kindly agreed to let me stay in her room.

It's now time for me to head out. Ya'll take care of yourself.
