My sister told me on my birthday that I'd get a present when she got a paycheck. The present, an Amazon order, arrived yesterday. I'd like to share with you some of Tammy's comments on the various items:
1) The Sledding Hill by Chris Crutcher: comments helpful, not entertaining
2) Ironman by Chris Crutcher: "This book is just my favorite Chris Crutcher book. Definitely formulaic, but also my favorite. you better like it or I'm sending you Titus."
3) The Money Book for the Younng, Fabulous, and Broke by Suze Orman: "Well, two out of three ain't bad...but seriously, this also comes with like an internet "guide" thing that you have to input a code that's in the book to use. I need an English book...."
4) The Red Thread by Lucy Kaplansky: "Definitely my favorite Lucy Kaplansky CD. You better not already have it." (I don't)
The gifts are appreciated, but I think I might also have to keep the copy of the order just for her commentary...
