My weekend: so far so good
Except for not being able to sleep in late and still struggling with some crappy cough/cold, it has been a good weekend.
Saturday evening, N8 took us to Brio Tuscan Grille at Stony Point Fashion Park. I didn't realize that he had never walked around at the mall before, so we took a stroll and I showed him the water fountains where the kids run through in the summertime. Gabriel was pretty hesitant at first, but he eventually warmed up enough to run in and out of the fountains. Good thing I had a spare diaper and tshirt in my purse. We let him run around until bedtime, then went home.
Yesterday I managed to sell enough cloth diapers that I had packed away to cover about half the price of the new convertible car seat. It was desperately needed, and I'm not sure if I could have gone another week without it! Last night I even manage to have enough time/energy sew another diaper, but I think it would pay off if I just stick to cranking out as many extra cloth wipes instead.
This morning N8 did a lot to help clean up downstairs, and got the back yard cut before the rain came in. If I can lose this stupid cough, get the laundry done tonight and a head start on some work for Tuesday, then I might be able to make it through the week without feeling so run down.
