Watermelon and Cake
I wanted to go back to Carytown Watermelon Festival this year, but it is supposed to be 100 degrees tomorrow. The baby really enjoyed sitting in the stoller and stuffing his face with watermelon, but I dont know if I can take the heat plus 100,000 people without changing my mind.
One of my coworkers told me I should try going at the end instead of the beginning, because lots of people try to get there before the heat and traffic gets wonky. If I can convince myself to pull it together and clean the house in the AM instead of PM, I guess we will try it.
This morning I went to the store and order my son's birthday cake. I can't believe he is going to be two next week! Oh man, where did the time go?
