Junior Ring Weekend
Well I figured I might as well write about this weekend while it's fresh in my mind...
Friday night was the Junior Ring Ceremony and Ball. It was kind of depressing seeing all of my rook buddies get their rings and I couldn't, but I was happy for them. The ceremony lasted from 1730 until 1930ish, then we all marched back up to the U.P. under our freshmen year platoon leader, Lt. McKenzie, who was and still is the most shady and scary man I know. Whenever his name is mentioned I just get chills from freshmen year and what that man did to us.
Then the ball was later that night. It was ok, the music kind of sucked but the company definitely was awesome :-). Carrie and I duck out of the ball early to go hang out and we ended up driving to Berlin to get some ice cream. We sat around for an hour or so and just talked about all kinds of stuff. It was awesome. Then unfortunately she had to leave because she was going to Boston that morning :-(, so I kissed her goodnight and then she left. I had a great time with her.
Saturday I ended up sleeping until about 1200 when I got up and watched a couple movies. Then I headed down to the Our Lady Peace concert. They were awesome, I didn't stay for the whole thing because I was leaving for the Band Company condo up in Stowe. Spent all night talking to everyone, playing pool, and just relaxing and having a good time. I stayed up until about 0400 when I finally passed out on a couch because I was just so tired. Then I woke up around 0900 and cleaned up the condo and now I just got back. I would go into detail about all the stupid drunk people did at the condo, but what happens at the condo, stays at the condo. But if I really like you, I'll tell you anyway haha. Considering most of you who read this, don't know any of my friends here at Norwich.
Well now it's time to go to bed. This is probably one of the best weekends of my life, it was just amazing :-)
