The snow really is melting thanks to rain and temperatures in the 50s today. There are still places where the snow has drifted or been piled by plows that are 6 feet high. Everyone around here (Southeastern Massachusetts) admits to being totally sick of winter and snow.
Finally gave in and made an appointment with a surgeon to get my hernia fixed. It's right next to my belly button. I feel like the time has come. Been in the hospital too often lately and am anxious about an operation.
Yesterday we went to Little Harbor in Wareham, MA and my wife collected scallop shells. The snow is gone from this beach.
I'm already sick of the 2016 presidential campaign. There are so many jerks spouting off their "expertise". It's a shame that our politicians make our country look so bad in the eyes of other countries. I find some of the things that get said and laws that are being passed to be astoundingly dumb.
