Books: One Silent Night, Midnight Sun

I finished One Silent Night.  Interesting book about ancient gods at war in the modern day.  I liked some aspects, didn't like others, was surprised at it's occasional raunchiness given that I borrowed the book from our office "library" (a cubicle for people to donate old books and magazines).  Not a bad story, not a great one.  I enjoyed it as fluff and some of the ideas.  Didn't keep it  (we can keep the books if we want), but didn't feel the time reading it was a loss.  And what's wrong with me thinking that Medea would be a lovely name for my future daughter.  (Okay, she was a character in a greek tragedy but still... it's a pretty name and not so tragic, per se, in this story.)

Reading Midnight Sun online off of Stephenie Meyer's website.  Can't print it.  Not enjoying it too much, but it's okay.  It's an unfinished piece and I do think Ms. Meyer is acting a bit childish with her mini tantrum over it.  Eh. No biggie.  Found out the newest addition to my immediate team at work (our budget analyst for my boss) is an Edward-Girl and loved all the stories.  *laughs*  Funny that.
