Books: New Moon; The World of Ptavvs; The Lonely Crowd

New Moon - Okay.  Not as horrible as I expected.  Had a few parts I enjoyed, but had a number that annoyed me.  Jacob Black sections were... well... I enjoyed those.  Edward sections were blah and annoying.  I will finish the Saga, I guess, if I can get the books from the library or borrow them from someone.  Not paying good money for them.

The World of Ptavvs - Decent book.  Enjoyable, though not as fullfilling as I'd hoped given the previous book I read by Nivens.  Then again, this was a novel and that was a compilation of short stories.  I do plan on reading more of his stories.  And the subject matter of this book was interesting.  Not a favorite, but definitely a decent book for anyone into sci-fi.  (Just remember this was written before we knew a lot about our solar system or outerspace.

The Lonely Crowd - Currently on hold.  Just couldn't get into it after reading the two long prefaces.  They were informative, but now my mind is craving actual stories and not studies.  I do plan on reading this alter on.  Seems interesting and thought provoking, just not what I want right now.
