Quick like a bunny update
Working nights - I'm busy - and good - weather is here, some wind, some rain, some flooding in Key West but we are relatively unaffected here by Ike.
I did post some lame-ish cell phone photos of our beaches in the past, but you can see South Florida beaches much better in this little Sun Sentinel thing on rip tides:

Now that's what it looks like when it is calm. Lately the ocean is very whipped up, milky jade colored water, lots of waves, some beach erosion and lots of seaweed debris .. but as I say, compared to Cuba, we are very, very lucky.
Now I must get back to work! Have a lovely Tuesday/Wednesday ya'll!
