I got a huge freaking ticket Sunday night. Driving 76 in a 55 zone. (In my defense it was on a highway and I was not the fastest driver around) And then my insurance card was expired so I have to appear in court on May 7. Hopefully I can get that charge dropped because I do have valid insurance. And I'm gonna try my damnedest to get the speeding charge lessened if I can go to traffic school, or something. Otherwise I am so screwed. And my insurance is going to go way the feck up and my parents are going to make me pay the difference.
My parents want me to consult with a lawyer, because I already had 2 points on my license, and the speeding charge is six points, and the insurance one is 4 points. Since I'm under 21, I can only accrue 9 points on my license before it gets suspended. Does anyone have any legal advice to offer on this matter?
Other question: since I got accepted through Arcadia, I am definitely going to Ireland in the fall. Does anyone have any recommendations for clothing I should bring? What's the climate like (other than rainy)? I need some sort of waterproof coat, and should probably invest in rain boots, but other than that, I'm stumped as to what people wear over there. General fashions, and such.
Random tidbit of the day: I learned today that my college is the second whitest school in the the country. *headdesk* I can't say I'm that surprised, but I figured there'd be at least one or two more above us. (For those wondering, number one is BYU. Also not shocking.)
