Canon!Rift
The following are necessary backstory to know why the hell the Trickster and Murphy even hang around together.
The First Encounter. In which Murphy's Knight of the Cross senses tingle, the Trickster is unsympathetic to her pain, and a beautiful relationship begins.
The First Date. In which Murphy and the Trickster chill at a local club. Murphy gets hammered. The Trickster mocks her a lot.
The Second Date. In which there is dinner and some beating up on punkass domestic terrorists.
The Parting of the Ways. In which Murphy and the Trickster have their lost moments before the Trickster gets eaten by a green rift and isn't heard from in awhile.
And from there, the path diverges...
Everyone Hates Skinwalkers. Gabriel returns from his universe after joining the fight against the Apocalypse and killing one of his brothers. Murphy is concerned. And then skinwalkers happen.
But Not As Much As Everyone Hates Demon Leeches. Murphy comes back from her universe. Notice the pattern. Our intrepid duo promptly get attacked by a demon leech-possessed boar god in a hospital. Sorry, kids.
How's That Apocalypse Coming? In which Murphy and Gabriel wake up in Gabe's world, where the Apocalypse is still going down, run into some fledgling Necromancers, get tortured by a demon, and then Murphy gets possessed by an angel and, after the Rift rids her of it, tracks down Michael and kills him. And then she and Gabe fall into another Rift.
The Hits Keep On Coming. Gabriel and Murphy wind up in a world that definitely isn't theirs, get caught up in the pusuit of a hunter, and... Stuff.
Dobiel II: The Reckoning: In which Dobiel returns and is still WAY TOO FAR up the crazy tree.
