Long Live Livejournal.

Mar 01, 2012 01:33

I get frustrated at friends who will have an epiphany or crisis at a moment and will spill it all out through twitter.

Several friends have done this.

I'm not annoyed necessarily of 4+ in a row tweets of venting.
I'm just concerned that they aren't handling such a situation properly.

I see a tweet nearly as equivalent as shouting amongst a crowd of your peers.
Everyone of us will turn our head and look, but not necessarily respond.

I understand, its the spur of the moment. You gotta let it out.
But we should get back to thinking it over.
I need to get back to letting my thoughts fulfill themselves out.
This livejournal has been a dry sponge because my own tweets have just been a drop of the dumb stuff I can think of.

I don't have enough mental capacity to look back at each spur of the moment tweet and necessarily recall my actions behind them.
I know these journals will serve me a good purpose in reflecting and remembering on my past.
I've got to utilize this website atleast for my own sake. I know that some night a few years from now I will be bored and take the time to look back and read all I've been through.

Its this accessible advantage we have in the 21st century that we should make use of.

1 or 2 posts per week is what I shall do.
