the weekend...
this was such a wonderful weekend!
Friday was not looking too exciting... i stayed home that night and cleaned my house... didn't get it all done, either, b/c i've downloaded QBert on my puter... love those 80s games!
Saturday, Dale came over and we drove up to Nikki's for a going away bbq for pounce and Matt. I felt bad for freezing pounce and ash in the back seat on the way back, but we should have left before the sun went down... i didn't realize how late it really was! Soooooo much fun! Yummy bbq, good friends to chill with, volley ball (eventhough the sand tore up my feetsies :/ ) and a dj tent for some good music. I got to ride in Topher's '47 Willy... very fun! it was sooooo small compared to my jeep! his window flips up! hahaha
Today, we went to waterworld... i tried to imagine what the park is going to look like during the party... floating cuddle puddles, kids sucking on binkies by the speakers with the normal families walking by, saying WTF, reverse farmers tans; kids having kandi up to their elbows and no shirt on LOL... i don't think a lot of peeps realize that the park will be open to EVERYONE, not just people that want to go to the party. It is also the last weekend that waterworld will be open, too. I'm a little sad that we will miss it, but we will be in cali, enjoying the beach, and going to nocturnal wonderland!
We have a full car for Nocturnal Wonderland! I'm so excited! We will be getting there on thursday evening, then going with Erin to see her and Dino with RAW. Friday night, Erin and Dale will be spinning in some holly wood club... dale better bring some demos! Saturday is NW... and all the days will be chillin on the beach. Erin's friend is letting us all stay at his place... i don't mind sleeping in the van... i'm just glad for a place to shower!
YAY for all that is coming up. I think travis and nikki are also planning another outdoor party. i heard the last one was VERY good, but i was in dallas. i hope not to miss the next one!
Too bad summer is almost over. i feel like i have not been outside enough... some things i want to do before summer ends (or at least before the warm weather ends)... botanical gardens, tubing, ride my bike down the cherry creek trail, jeepin (which i might be doing with pounce this sunday... she know about the jeep thing now that topher took her around) and some other things that i cant think of right now
