Hellooooo Livejournal.
New Year's was pretty good, except that I came down with something the night before New Year's Eve and was kind of sickly and moderately bedridden until January 3rd. I actually went to the doctor's office because Teri scared me into thinking I might have meningitis. I had a stiff neck, and some of the other symptoms of it. But it wasn't meningitis, so. I'm pretty happy about that.
The night I started feeling sick Matt and I had gone into Boston to see The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which my aunt Martha got us tickets to, and we had a great time. We ate at an Indian restaurant before the show, and kind of strolled around. I love being in the city even more when it's not for work.
Still freakishly warm out. Very disconcerting.
Matt Tremblay and Nate came by last night, and Nate and I had rather an in-depth discussion about which would be better, cow-sized frogs or frog-sized cows. I think we ended up on frog-sized cows, and that in general it's better for a large animal to become smaller than vice-versa. Logistically.
I've decided to get my weight down to 125 by my birthday - which means losing five pounds a month for the next four months, give or take. Whether or not that's realistic really depends on whether or not I'm actually going to get off my ass and exercise, and stop eating China Buffet like I did last night. So...stay tuned.
