Nobody’s POV
The girls and boys were gathered in the practice room. Their boss was in the room with a firm expression, but only with his present in the room was enough to make the temperature dropped below zero and the tension heavier than a downpour.
They formed a firm line and the girls stood nervously as Mr. YG walked back and forth eyeing them. Big Bang lined up across and they too seemed nervous. They have been under YG Entertainment and Mr. YG’s care for a long time, but something about him just made them straighten themselves in front of him. He was their boss after all. No YG. No Big Bang. No chance for the girls.
There was a reason why he had lots of respect and the girls couldn’t afford to get on the wrong side of Mr. YG which could led to four tickets out of the music world. Mr. YG had paced back and forth between the two groups for a while and no one dared to make a sound, however, Mi Soo still managed to do that against her will.
“Hic!” Every heads turned to her including Mr. YG’s. Her cheeks immediately flushed as the attention turned to her and she covered her mouth to hide another hiccup that threatened to come out. “Hic! I’m sorry! Hic!” She said between the hiccups and where still covering her mouth, but it didn’t help.
“Try holding you breath!” So Ah whispered to her friend, but she couldn’t help but smile let alone not laughing. Typical Mi Soo. She always managed to totally make a fool out of herself, which resulted with endless teasing from her friends and lots of laughing fits.
“Ok, you guys probably wonder why I’m here?” Mr. YG spoke and the whole room went quiet except Mi Soo’s hiccups. Nevertheless, Mr. YG continued on like nothing happened. “Because you guys are a group you will need a leader. Unlike other groups which have had many years as trainees you have two month. I would normally choose the leader myself, but I still don’t know you guys that much, I will have to test the lucky ones.” He snickered as the girls looked at him with a shocked expression. Then he turned to the boys who had been a bit relaxed as Mr. YG’s attention was on the girls, but straightened right away when the question hit them. “Who do you guys think would be able to handle the role as the leader?”
The boys stayed quiet. Their eyes swayed from the girls to each other and back to Mr. YG.
“Just say a name. Ji Yong.” Ji Yong looked at Mr. YG and at So Ah’s hopeful eyes and then at Soo Jung that just shrugged.
“I think So…” He gave So Ah another look before he mind up his mind. She would be mad, but it was the best for her. “Soo Jung…” Mr. YG eyed him curiously then gave Soo Jung a look. That statement coming from Ji Yong who was a leader himself wouldn’t be ignored.
“Top?”
“Mi Soo.” Top smirked and threw Mi Soo a winked and made the girl giggle. Mr. YG did not oversee this but chose to ignore it.
“Taeyang?” Taeyang thought back to Seung Ri’s birthday. While everybody was in the middle of a fight Soo Jung managed to ease the fight peacefully.
“Soo Jung would be a good choice.” Soo Jung looked up. She wasn’t expecting any vote for her and suddenly receiving two gave her two enemies. Mr. YG was now eyeing the girl with much amusement. She had been nominated twice. Though the girl seemed to lack something as she didn’t look back at him, but down at her own feet. That would be a problem, he noted.
“Daesung?” Daesung looked up as his name was called. He was trying to make a hard decision. The two girls were Je Soo and Ji Soo…
“J..” He started but then a thought hit him, he was supposed to help Ji Soo with her goal and maybe if she was the leader. She wouldn’t need his help anymore. “Ji Soo would be a good leader.” Ji Soo smiled at him and he smiled back, but when his gaze shifted to Je Soo, she frowned and didn’t meet his gaze. He sighed. Maybe that was a bad choice. Mr. YG looked at the three of them. It seemed like his new addiction to the group had stared up some tensions.
“Seung Ri?” Seung Ri looked at Soo Jung and she stared back. He was arguing with himself. If he said Soo Jung, she sure would get cocky and never admit her mistake. That wouldn’t be good, he thought and made up his mind.
“Ji Soo…” He just mentioned the first name of the other girls that popped into his head. Soo Jung looked at him but her eyes told him that she wasn’t surprised and that bugged him. Somehow he ended up doing what that girl expected him to.
“Well then it seems like we are having a draw. This is how we are going to do this. You guys will go home and pack your stuff for a trip to a Winter Resort, together with Big Bang whose are going to film a music video. Soo Jung, I leave you in charge of the girls during this whole trip. Don’t disappoint me.” Mr. YG announced and both the boys and the girls were struck with confusion.
“Yes…” Soo Jung muttered and Mr. YG sighed.
“What did you say?”
“Yes!” She raised her voice and Mr. YG made an attempt to smile. “That was better. Mrs. Kim will give you the details.” With that said he left the room and everyone bowed.
