While Legolas takes Thorin prisoner (whoa, slash ahead!), Thranduil weeds out judgement. It would make sense for PJ to turn the jovial festival from the book into a partol for the movie. Fits better and gives brown-haired woman (forgot the name) a right to exist if she's Legolas friend or subordinate. Legolas would be old enough to have his own partrol in the forest.
Is that Thranduil or another woodelf? I would like to see Legolas silbings.
Yeah, replace green background with Thronhaal in your head. Thranduil using a wizard stick as sceptre is hilarious in my eyes X)
Moose Antlers. I must say Thranduils thronroom is more original than the common stone chairs!

Mirkwood. Very bright, because After Production can always make it darker, but not more colorful.
PJ also mention something like "hallucinatory" when he described Mirkwood.
