In saving him, Gabriel risks his own life, leaving it in the hands of this stranger, Sam. Luckily for Gabriel, Sam is kind. So when Gabriel starts getting sick as a result of saving him, Sam feels responsible, but there's more to it than Gabriel is telling him.
