In Summary
Love 'em or hate 'em, VIZ Media is definitely the most successful publisher of 2005. At one point in Dec, they had the entire top 13 spots of the BookScan charts to themselves. How does VIZ have such domination? Branding. Marketing. And Branding. It also doesn't hurt that they have access to the most vast and arguably best library of titles to choose from, which looks to be tapped even more with the upcoming Signatures imprint.

Favorite Title
Ed - Ed is a Viz Slut and eats it all up like Coco Puffs. He also likes Sexy Voice and Robo
Jarred - MONSTER!! (2006) But also check out Fullmetal Alchemist, Eyeshield 21, Kekkaishi, Vagabond, One Piece, Firefighter! Daigo . . my lord I could go on and on.
Unlicensed titles that would be a good fit
Inoue's REAL, Adachi's TOUCH and H2, or just close your eyes, reach into the Shogakukan+Shueisha grab bag and pull something out.
