"... to thine own self be true" was the motto of the beaver hall group of artists, montreal contemporaries of the group of seven. perhaps because they were mostly women they have been neglected in the annals of canadian art. i certainly didn't know about them until tonight.  they will be featured on tvo's masterworks on july 20.

a few months ago i built a website for tim; tonight i taught tim how to maintain it. he learned a lot of HTML, CSS, and FTP in 2 hours. but he's very excited.
