How can you not love a video featuring a band named Stallions that makes vintage slow groove 80's tunes set to clips from classic 80's movies and numerous shots of 80's asses moving in slow motion? I dare say it is impossible, if just for that shot of the crazy dancing dude getting hit in the face with a volleyball.

This new music video for Futurecop!'s "The Only Way" is fantastic in every way that their video for "Starworshiper" was gawd awful. The very appropriately named Miami Nights 1984 sounds exactly like, well, a night in Miami in 1984. They make some fantastic retro 80's dance music in the same vein as Futurecop! and someone made a fan video for "Streets On Fire" with footage from Oliver Stone's Scarface, which, incidentally enough, is also what I think of when I think of Miami ( Read more... )
