While I love to post great songs for you folks to enjoy, what always makes a great song better is when there is a cool video to go with it. Lately I've found a whole string of neat videos to share, so I figured I'd just lump them all into one post.
First up is the new Mark Ronson video for his song, Bang Bang Bang. Ronson has ditched the retro Motown sound for his new album in favor of some serious synths, and you guys know how much I love my synths. Beyond that though, this is just a really bitching video, probably one of my favorite videos that I've seen in a while. Just try not to fall in love with the style of this video. Director Warren Fu hit the nail on the head perfectly, not just here, but with all of his videos. If you get a chance, check out his Vimeo page to see what I'm talking about.

For the lazy, I've also included Warren Fu's video for Julian Casablanca's (lead singer of the Strokes) 11th Dimension for you, a video whose style wouldn't feel out of place in any 80's sci-fi movie:

Someone who is also no stranger to fun, quirky videos is Marina and the Diamonds, whose new single Oh No! is cute as cute can be.
I had not noticed this before, but apparently I have a huge crush on Marina. Go figure.

Sometimes a cool video can make you take notice of a little song you might otherwise have ignored. There's no better example I can think of than Finland's Husky Rescue. Their video for song They Are Coming is like an eerie indie movie. The song is subtle in how it keeps building tension just like the images that go along with it. I totally want to see what happens next!
