Happy friday the 13th.

I have always loved Friday the 13th. As a child I remember playing outside on these strange days that come a few times a year and laying in the grass, staring up at the sky waiting to see if something would happen. I would imagine that objects were there that weren't supposed to be there.
In Ann Arbor, I threw a few Friday the 13th dinner parties. At one in particular I will always remember Seyth screaming in an unnaturaly deap voice, "Friday the 13th!" to unsuspecting people walking by the house at night.
Today was not quite as exciting, but the spirit was kept alive in my imagination. I also red an interesting article in the Red Eye which spotlighted certain chicago spots to avoid on this day: the hancock (was made in a way that does not allow negative energy to escape- hence chris Farley's death on the 60th floor.)
Also included in the article were some things to do for good luck: put on a dress inside out, spill some wine while making a toast, drop a glove...
