In a matter of years, the board of directors of General Motors (now Motors Liquidation Company) will dissolve the "legal person" that is GM. This will be a premeditated act. Under the rule announced in Citizens United, will the directors be indicted for murder?

Today, the Supreme Court held, among other things, that Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions applies to members of Al Qaeda.

In other words, a majority of the US Supreme Court implicitly held that Donald Rumsfeld is a war criminal.

I wrapped up my federal court January today, getting myself sworn in in the Eastern District of New York. Because of reciprocity between the Southern and Eastern Districts, this was simple--I just brought proof that I was admitted in the Southern District, signed a form, and ta-da!
