We're home!
Wow, what a move. Nik had her baby just before the move, but God bless her, she did as much as she could to get us to our new place.
So here we are. Mike, Nik and baby Jo live upstairs, and Kurt and I live downstairs. It's like a damned party. We all love our arrangement. Jo is so quiet, and even when she cries... we can't fucking hear her. We congregate and watch movies and have dinner, we're basically one big unconventional family unit and that suits us just fine.
The thing that sucks is MOVING CRAP AROUND. We're trying to decorate down here and get things where they need to be.
But OMG Washer/Dryer hook ups! OMG Dish Washer! *doesn't know what to squee over first*
It's a duplex, and we're dubbing it "The Dupe."
