Post Birthday Updates
This was the bestest birthday EVAR.
I got a bottle of Sheep Dip malt whiskey -- 8 years old and from Scotland, too! Bottoms up, boys! Thanks, Jami! ^_^
Kurt gave me a big gift card to Victoria's Secret and we went... um, shopping... *evil grin* And he brought me some really rare perfume that I loved from his dad's shop, and also a beautiful silver bracelet and Brother Bear on DVD. Yay!
The one I found most touching was what my mum gave me. It was this gorgeous gold nugget on a gold chain, which would have touched me enough, but she added, "That was your father's wedding ring. I had it melted down into this pendant so you could wear it."
I had to cry -- it was so sweet of her, especially because I had a depressive episode the day before my birthday because I missed my Daddy. (For those of you not up to speed, he died of cancer when I was seventeen.) It's nice to have a piece of his history that I can keep close to my heart -- literally.
So I had a great birthday -- and I didn't even get really tore up. Kurt and I drank wine while I studied for my exam that I took this morning. Damn, he's so sexy when he drinks wine --- I don't know what it is about him doing that, but ooooh, baby!
Heehee... I'm doing more artwork and hopefully I'll use a scanner next time so the color turns up better. ^_^
