Things are better :)

Not perfect by any means, but better. Thanks to all who showed concern for me! It helped calm me down. That last entry was done right after all the crap happened, so I was steaming... Just needed to get it out.

Anyway, so this weekend I spent most of my time with my grandmother. She's not sick, but she needs someone to make sure she takes care of herself, ie. eats, takes her vitamins/medications, gets where she needs to be. So since my aunt and her family went on a church conference to the mountains, and my family was in Vermont, I had to stay the night at my aunt's house Saturday and Sunday. I got there late Saturday and talked for a bit, made sure she got her ride to church the next morning, fed the dog, and then went off for errands.

I went back around 3:30 on Sunday to take her to a small veterans ceremony for local vets. She was supposed to get a certificate honoring her work in WWII (she was a nurse in England, which is where she met my grandfather). So, just like most things with this side of the family, they forgot her name, but she didn't want to embarrass them, so she didn't say anything. We went back to the house, and just talked for a few hours about everything. About what she did during the war, her family in Scotland, her life as a nurse, and loads of other stuff. It was nice to finally learn some of her history. I left there this morning around 10:30, and she was just thrilled that I had come.

So that went pretty well. I worked this afternoon. And there was a new baby!! The mini, Blue Eye, foaled last night at 3:30am! She had a little colt, he's about a foot and a half tall, and has big white stockings. They named him Little Jo, he's adorable!! He's the smallest horse I've ever seen. I'm glad I got to see him.

Anyway, I just got sidetracked because I wanted to load Little Jo's pic to my Webshots site, so that I could post a link to it. So it's now 2:10am... it takes a long time to load pictures, especially more than 20 of them, teehee. So I'm really tired, and my first class is tomorrow, er today, at 9:30am. So I need to go to bed, g'night all! I'll post again when something interesting happens.
