Sunday I got to hang with the hubby and inlaws and do the behind-the-scenes tour at Star Trek: The Experience. So. Much. Fun. If I didn't have to worry about paying rent, I would so apply for a job there; but I doubt it would pay as well as my current job, and unfortunately money is a necessary evil.
Julian and I are totally thinking of having a renewal of vows ceremony at ST: The Experience in October. We have to work out finances, but it could be doable. This is something we considered back before we were married, and it's something we've pondered ever since. We had a brief scare after hearing a rumor that ST: TE was going to be closing after this year, but that turned out to be a lie purpetrated by a disgruntled ex-employee, so all is well.

The Orchestral Suite from the ST: Next Gen. episode The Inner Light is one of the finest pieces of music I've ever heard. I would love that as my wedding march, if JR and I really do have a renewal ceremony.
