[Dean instinctively started a message to Sam after waking up to find him not home. The text was simple, yet personal, but as soon as he intended to send it, he discovered Sam's name missing from the contact list. It was obvious enough, then, that Sam was gone. Despite that fact, Dean instantly ran from the house, ignoring anyone who was home, to get in the Impala and drive for hours. It wasn't until the car was running on pretty much gas fumes that he finally gave up and headed back for Singer Auto Salvage, to Bobby's House.
In the hours he'd been out there, Dean had found a blue plaid shirt of Sam's in the back seat of the car, and by the time he'd gotten back home, he'd pulled it on, rolled the sleeves up, and left it unbuttoned over the t-shirt he had on in bed, considering he'd just thrown on a pair of jeans and his boots before going to look for his little brother.
He also found alcohol, and slumped behind the wheel of the Impala, parked outside of Bobby's house, he finally dragged his phone from his pocket to make the message he didn't want to make, forgetting to remove the message he'd planned to send to Sam.]

[When the video cuts on, after the text, Dean can't fix his gaze on the screen, but he does manage to get his voice to sound solid and unwavering.]
My brother, Sam Winchester, went back to our world. Just... thought you all should know, in case you knew him. [He frowns a bit, rakes his hand over his face, and grabs his bottle of whiskey to take a drink from it.] Singer Salvage is closed today. Don't call.
