Woohoo! Time for the holidays! And not just ANY holiday! It's THANKSGIVING!! I'm so thankful for thanksgiving I could dance a little turkey jig! But I'm not gonna-- because, well, I don't think that turkeys jig at all. And besides, getting up to dance would just waste the precious time that I've set aside for my now-monthly journal posting ceremony.
I've never been so excited about Thanksgiving! Lots of reasons incite this zestful enthusiasm-- Real food, time to be with the family, a whole week away from Emily, (ha ha, just kidding sweetie!), and no school. Oh, and new puppies! My dad just surprised us w/ two new puppies here they are:
Click this now you fool!I'm feeling dubious about the new puppies. I have yet to meet them, but when I do, I'm certain I will fall intantly in love (and we'll ride away into the sunset and so on...). But the problem is that I feel like I should feel a sense of indignance toward the little sweethearts. Besides, are they NOT replacing my Lucy, who was once Queen of the kitchen floor? Hmm.... deep questions. I guess I will just have to forget my first doggy-- (who if ya'll don't know, was killed by a car in July), and move on.
But on a happier note-- IT"S TURKEY TIME!! I don't even like turkey. But I DO like stuffing!
I'll try to write in this thing @ least once a week-- and my designated day-for-posting is Sunday, b/c that's the day of rest and I should be able to fit it in. So check back here @ least every sunday.. and you might even be pleasantly surprised to find TWO whole posts since the last time you checked! (but I wouldn't count on it. ) Ok, ya'll be safe and none of that annual Turkey drunkery.
