(no subject)
So the plan for tonight was to go to dinner with Michala and Dara in Causeway Bay at 7 and then go to the Shotgun She-Ras/Hot Young Pies of Alabama show in Central at 11. However:
Roads in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, and the majority of Central were closed. All buses going through those areas were shut down. The Wan Chai MTR Station was shut down and they were preparing to shut down the Causeway Bay Station. I've never seen anything like this in Hong Kong. I was sort of stranded in Causeway Bay after dinner and called my parents to let them know I was looking for ways to get home. The first thing my mom asked was "are you in jail?" And I was very happy to say No. I ended up getting a ride with Dara to Cyberport and then taking the 973 home (and I got to ride past Kellet School and think of Faust!). I'm sad that I didn't get to go to the She-Ras, though. I think we would've had a rockin' good time.
HOWEVER- last night I went to see the Academy at Amnesia and they were wonderful. I think they get better with every show, and last night's show was such heaven. ohhhh well done, boys!
ADAM ARRIVES TOMORROW!!! I'm so very excited :)
(also, I slept until some ungodly hour like 2:00 today because I got no sleep this week. oh man i drooled so much last night it was beautiful)
