lil' update
well. no pictures now because i'm too lazy and i've got too much to do today.
first off, i've got a nice fat old english translation due in a couple hours. after that i've got to go to the class and then come back and do laundry/pack for a weekend in oxford/london with james and his family. i've got to find the train station i'm leaving from as well. yeesh.
AND on may 10th i'm leaving for three days in amsterdam with mike. we're staying at the flying pig palace (probably end up getting a t-shirt) hostel and i'd be lying if i wasn't just a tidge bit excited for it.
manchester has this really strange system for finals as well. all of my (and every student's) lectures end on may 8th. so, collectively there are no classes for anyone between may 8th and their final exams. my final exams are in the beginning of june. now, what in the hell is this. they give me approximately a month off and expect me to study the entire time? i don't know about this! i hear everyone basically deserts the campus during that interim period and goes on a mini-holiday. they really encourage the consistent learning here.
