So here's my first update in a while and for a while:
If you've heard in church, my folks received a wonderful gift from the church for their (and my siblings and I) 10th year at the church. They will be leaving on a cruise for Alaska in just but a few days. Anywho, some news updates. My 14th birthday is Saturday, and we've already celebrated it since my parents are just about to leave. And.... drum roll.... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrdrrrrrrrrrrrrrdbrrrrrrrr... I got myself a cell phone! This being pretty cool, brothas and sistahs. I already knew, however, on Friday. I had to pay part of it and will pay to refill my minutes from now on. But boy am I excited. And, the idea is (talked over with my parents), since I've already had requests, if I can start drumset lessons and take three students a week, I can make some loot. And that loot could buy me minutes. And that loot could be set back for a car.
Man, that loot could do a lot.
Anyways, be praying that my mom will not explode before this trip and that it will be the most peaceful and tranquil trip she has ever taken and have a great time with my dad. And pray for me.... 'cause here's my schedule for next week.
-On Friday (this Friday) Hodgins (John Michael's family, you might know him) pick me up and I go to their house.
-Stay the night there, Saturday there, and Saturday night there.
-They take me to church and I come home with the Horsts (Zach's fam). Spend the night there on Sunday Night and ride the bus to middle school with Zach's younger brother AJ, while big ol' Zachy goes to high school.
-Come home to my own home and stay with my mom's best friend for that whole week.
-Then we do it again.
-Friday, Friday Nite, Sat, Sat Nite, and go to church with Hodgins.
-Sunday nite with Horsts
Monday I come home from school to my folks.
It's going to be stressful, amazing, and awesome. I hope my parents have the best of time. Pray for life liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. You just can't beat those unalienable rights.
