Time restraints disappoint me :< due to them, this piece isn't going to look as polished as I wanted it to...oh well--such is the deal with school work I guess:
A portrait of
Sean K. Dunkley oh man--my hands are so frozen, it's hard to type. Curse these winter blues : < Lets all move to the tropic so that we may never see weather below 0 degrees C ever again...
I'm feeling a little funny about my artwork today--Looking through my gallery, I wonder if my work has any direction to viewers at this point--if it seems to serve any purpose in the eyes of people who may not know me.
I'm wondering what sets my work apart from anyone who just does it as a hobby.
Maybe I should start looking at my choice subject matter more seriously--an perhaps start to turn my work in a direction that makes it easier for people who may not know me--to take me seriously as an artist.
Pictures of half naked dudes with big ears--isn't going to do that. I'm sure that's painfully obvious.
I start to think I've got things figured out and that I'm headed in a steady direction with my work--only to suddenly feel I'm going the wrong way.
