Party Costume
A Friend of mine - that I've refered to here in Live Journal as 'Dragon Man' - does an Annual Party
Each Party has a Different Theme, and he doesn't exactly do things 'Low Key'
These are the ones that I have Attended thus far:
Beach Party 1986 - Where he sealed off his Bathroom at the Door, and also at the Floor Drain, and Flooded it. He also put A LOT of sand in another Room....this Combined became his 'Beach'
Mid-Summer Night's Dream 1996 - Where he sealed off his Hallway and Flooded it, and also made some Trees for the occasion as well - some of which he still has today
Incantations Of Immortality 1997 - Where he sealed off his Driveway and Flooded it. He made a 'Raft' for it as well. this was 'Intended' to be 'The River Styx', but the Water didn't last very long for that to really be the case
Rise And Fall Of The Holy Roman Empire 1998 - Where he was Toying with the Idea of having a Pool put in, but decided it would be Too Much Hassle, so he just Hired the Local Health Centre
Aliens 1999 - Where he Hired the Local 'Zone Three' (one of those 'Laser-Tag' Venues). He made a Queen ALIEN for that Party as well (which I think is still there)
Dante's Inferno/Millennium 2000/2001 - Where he got Permission to use a Local School while they were on Holidays. He made a Volcano for this one
Atlantis Arrising 2002 - Where he Hired the Health Centre again
Metallica 2004 - Where he covered his walls with Tin-Foil
50's 2005 - No Special Decorations that I remember
70's 2006 - Where he Hired the Health Centre again
Games 2007 - No Special Decorations that I remember
Angels 2008 - No Special Decorations that I remember
At each of these Parties, as he's often Busy with other stuff....Organising the Venue....Organising the Supplies....Organising the Attendees....that he often gets Helpers to Help as they can
Be that merely an 'Extra Pair Of Hands' (as I usually am), or actually helping with the Construction of whatever might be Required for these Parties (which I try and do as well, when I'm able to)
Now, these Parties are Costumed Themed as well, but I haven't worn anything special at all of his Parties as such
Immortals, Atlantis, 70's, I went as 'Dr Who' with the Scarf that I made just Prior to the Immortals Party
Mid-Summer Nights, I managed to Borrow something to wear on the day
Aliens, I wore my Old Klingon Armour
Other Parties I've just worn my Normal Clothes (although I *did* wear my Klingon Belt Buckle at the Metallica one)
This year, he's Planning 'Lord Of The Dance'
Not being much of a Dancer myself, and not usually having a Costume for these Parties, I am now looking for the 'Simplest' Costume that I could get away with....
I've tried Searching for 'God Of Dancing', but got nothing Specific
Currently, I'm toying with the Idea of doing the 'Lard Of The Dance' from 'Jane Austin's MAFIA' :-p
I'm also looking at 'Boot Scooting/Line Dancing'
NOT because I'd actually be any good at it, but because it seems to be the Cheapest Idea (that and probably 'Square Dancing')

Well....I have my Klingon Boots and my Maille Vest, so that's at least an Option
Yes, I've thought about....what's it called....'Conga'?
The one where everyone forms a Dancing Line, and goes through the Venue, often Kicking the air on either side....whatever that one's called
Trouble with *that* one is, I don't know what Venue he's Planning for this one, and so, I don't know how well that one will go down
