I'm a glutton for punishment

My manager, Will, asked me to work a full day on my only day off next week, and I said yes.
I must be insane. Or skint.
I had another checklist at work today, we have them once a month and it's to make sure we're giving fabbydabby customer service. The last 3 I've had, I've been told I have to speed up my service and if they fault me on it again on the next one then it's going to be "serious".
I've stopped chatting in the stockroom and the backshop and I seriously cannot think of how to speed up short of running up the goddamn stairs (not fun in Doc Martens). They expect so much of us in such a short space of time, the checklist has about a million things on it to do, and you have to do it in the right order and not forget any of it :/
One thing that really annoyed me today was when I went to get a fill-up for display. I was walking reeeeeally slowly up the stairs and Will, the same manager above, walked past and was joking around with me to speed up. I told him I wasn't serving a customer and that I was just really lethargic today. Yet Sadie the trainee manager, when she was doing my checklist told me that Will had told her I was being too slow. WTF!? Why was he joking around with me if he seriously thought I was serving?? He should have done his manager thing and told me off for it, which I would've preferred cause it seems really two faced.

Apart from that I had a really good day at work, mainly because after yesterdays fiasco I actually wanted to work. Nothing happened yesterday. At all. I was so incredibly bored, and yet it never once crossed my mind to do any work, which I reeeeally should have done, but nevermind.
My first essay isn't due until March so I've got plenty of time. Only 9 weeks left of lectures and I'm done. Except for handing work in and the whole exam I have in the last 2 weeks of May, I'm aaaaall good. I'm definitely gonna do some extra hours as soon as I can, I'm going to need the money for once I move into the flat in Huddersfield as I probably won't be able to get a full time job straight away.
Things are looking up though.

My dad rang me on Skype last night and my mum rang me on the phone. They do remember they have another daughter, wow! As usual it was only because they wanted something, my mum some company and a whinge and my dad to sort out when we (me, Gran and Grandpa) are going to Canada. Which will probably be the last week of June, coming back the first week of July. This means that I won't be able to move into our flat on the 1st July, I asked Dale if he'd move my stuff in but he said no. This annoyed me until I thought about it, and I wouldn't be pleased if I had to do the same for him, and he has less stuff than me! So I'll probably move all my stuff into Gran's house before we leave and then move it into our flat asap once I get back. I can't wait to move in with Dale, it's going to be awesome!
