like how gruff Kangin is in the beginning, the Dead. Like bulgogi. and calling Lihyun a little bird and how all of that pretty much goes away the moment he sees Jungsu (and, well, maybe the rest of Suju too :p). also like how he's convinced that Jungsu's just acting, because that does seem like a very Jungsu-ish thing to do and makes it more realistic and kind of foreshadows Kangin's problems to come.
the rest of Super Junior descended like a particularly ominous storm cloud. ♥ ahaha only Suju could be accurately described by a storm cloud and this makes so much sense in kind of describing how the relationship between Kangin and the rest has changed. and then the familiar banter immediately after is a nice lighthearted counterpoint to this

The upside to being the brains of an operation, Youngwoon thought smugly as Hyukjae danced in his heart-patterned boxers and the members howled with mirth, was that he did not have to do the dirty work. Poor Hyukjae had yet to learn the intricacies of pranking, it seemed. loved this part haha, how Kangin's dragged Hyukjae into his pranking but somehow it's still Hyuk that gets bullied in the end lol.
the pub scene seems like it must've been hard to do, but I like how the dialogue makes it seem almost perfectly reasonable for Kangin to get as angry as he did. the Kangteuk argument after and how Jungsu doesn't trust his words anymore were incredibly depressing which I guess is what makes it so good. ;A;
and then the cheerful birthday scene in between that and Kangin talking to Jungsu again fdsklj. felt almost like nothing was wrong and everything was as it was before and throwing cakes into faces is so Suju haha. but then, the following scene. ;~;
Kangin is our brother and friend, and we love him. /sobs

- i really liked the Dead. Like bulgogi line too LMFAO - this makes so much sense in kind of describing how the relationship between Kangin and the rest has changed YES EXACTLY - so i think it's your turn to write kangteuk now - i really do - i liked that paragraph too! although it made me sad. in fact, A LOT OF THIS MADE ME SAD. but some of it made me happy like, uh, the ending. :| - I LOVED WRITING THAT GUITAR STRINGS SCENE OK IT MADE ME TINGLE TINGLE - this scene goes from humorous to angsty happens really smoothly and yet it's incredibly sad IKR LIKE MY HAPPY SCENES NEVER END HAPPILY WHAT IS THIS TRAVESTY - hyuk is a loser. nuff said - how Jungsu doesn't trust his words anymore YES this is EXACTLY why youngwoon got so pissed off. i mean, i definitely would - it probably sounds all serious in Hyukjae and Donghae's heads but it's also their own weird flavor of talking obv because eunhae PERSONIFY WEIRD

I SWEAR I'LL BE WRITING HAPPY KANGTEUK NEXT ODG i haven't written angst in two years.
I liked how there weren't proclamations of forever or anything over-the-top, and how it was kind of just this day-to-day moment that's almost insignificant but not [...] like how they can fall into routine even after all they've been through, because they're just that familiar with each other. YOU ARE AMAZING DON'T STOP this is exactly what i was aiming for :DDD
YOU WERE VERY USEFUL. EXTREMELY. no it's fine, i understand the post-grad sleep curse is very strong and difficult to break. ♥♥♥
