My first wedding there was this one OBNOXIOUS and rude bridesmaid who would say things like, "Oh my god how CHEESEY" every single time I tried to direct the girls at all. AT ALL. Even with things like, "Put your bouquets down like this so I can get a shot of them together" and she rolls her eyes and yells out, "OH my god!".
Some people are so extremely rude, and it's why weddings can be really, really hard unless you're the kind of person who can really take it. I can do weddings *on the side* but never full time, for exactly the reasons you can't do it.
I think the best and most awkward was the wedding I shot where the couple looks at me after they say their vows and say, "Now what? You've done a lot of weddings, what comes next?" THEY WANT ME TO RUN THEIR WEDDING. Holy pressure, Batman!
The worst for me was when I had the bridal party outside (first photo) for group shots. Now, every wedding photographer has their hour or so with JUST the bridal party for shots. Apparently, this family HAD NEVER been to one. All family had their camera's flashing behind me and ruined most of the shots. None of them even asked if it was okay for them to do so. I was getting so pissed, I asked the bride to please inform the people to wait for me to be done and then can take their own. She saw the frustration in me, and if I would've spoken, it wouldn't been the nicest way of asking. At some point, I heard a lady in the background saying: "Please and thank you go a long way" ... that grind my gears.
Or how about the one woman who says "don't make me look ugly" then there's the classic. "Oh hun look at the camera" when I was trying to get a candid shot. It just ruins the moment.

-"You should take it from here"
-"SIGH, this is boring"
-"I don't think it's going to turn out good"
I wanted to scream and pull their hairs.
