ZOMFGZ UPDATE!!!!one111

I cannot believe ... well, actually I kinda do ... that my last entry was HALLOWEEN (FAIL).

Guess it has been hectic, and a little bit lazy on my part. But TAHT'S OK! I am here now and will proceed to update more often as I can/should.

Since then, lots of happenings:

1) WORK LIFE:
I was working at a "high end" salon out of town, was going great but sometime after Xmas/New Year's, I wasn't feeling it. The 45 mins travel to get to work and back home was EXHAUSTING ... + they told me they couldn't afford to keep me anymore ... so off I went. I wasn't upset, I was going to quit, but it was sooner than I hoped. After that, the clients I had, began to contact me to my HOME for services. They all came to my home to get their hair-did. I thought it was pretty flattering. Problem is, they will only come back every 4-6 weeks >.<
This is when I decided to open my own little shop in town. So far, finding a location hasn't been easy.
Right now, the only thing that has been giving me work, is my liddle photography. Been having gigs here and there. Some frustrating ones, other really fun ones. The most frustrating ones are groups/events - I realized that I cannot do weddings. Directing people (terrible people, who do not wish to be photographed, careless and just all around rude), is not my thing ... AT ALL.
Family events is different. But again, you get the same kinda of people. It can be fun (for me, because I get to be a bitch ...something I am truly not by nature), bossing them around ... most times, I actually said: "You know what? I AM getting paid for this, so I AM in charge, now get back in there and fucking smile!!" ... That would have felt exhilarating if I had physically said it instead of just thought of, heh.

And then there are the fun ones, the ones that I LOVE to shoot, where my true passion flows and where my talent shines:

It's just SO much more fun. Bubbly, colourful, lighthearted, and it's just shows who I am. *shrugs*
Maybe it's because I haven't had a lot of experience in events or weddings, who knows. I don't think I'll reject the next offer, just have to learn and pick up a few things along the way.

2) FAMILY:
What can I say? I'm happy.
